Villas Cabo Vela Tours - Activities in Costa Rica
Villas Cabo Vela offers a tours of the local area including sport fishing, canopy, quad tours, horse back riding, snorkeling and scuba diving, volcano and rafting tours, and sunset catamaran tours.
Sport Fishing
Tamarindo has some of the best game fishing in Costa Rica including sailfish, marlin, dorado, snapper, roosterfish, and tuna. We can also arrange trips to the Caribean for snook and marlin. Lunch and drinks are included. Half day and full day trips are available, call or email us for a quote.
Canopy
Explore the jungle via canopy, only 20 minute drive from Villas Cabo Vela. There are 12 different lines set among spectacular mountains and jungle trees. You will see abundant wildlife including howler monkeys, birds, iguanas, among others.
Horse or Quad Tours
Take a tour of the local beaches and mountains via quads. Tours depart from Brasalito and are for 2 hours. You can go south to visit Playa Conchal, Playa Real or go north to tour Playa Flamingo.
Scuba and Snorkeling Diving

We offer snorkeling trips to local spots where you can see abundant local coral and sea life or take a day trip to the Catalina Island for scuba dives. Catalina dives leave at 8:45 for a 5 hours tour. Two tank dives from 30 to 70 feet with moderate currents. PADI certifications are available. Lunch and drinks included.
Rafting Tours

Looking for a thrill of a lifetime? Enjoy one of our white water rafting trips to the Pacuare river on the Atlantic or Enjoy spectacular scenery and wildlife along the 14 mile trip including waterfalls, birds of all types, monkeys, sloths, and iguanas. The Pacuare river is rated as one of the best in the world; it is moderate difficulty (Class III – IV). Bring rubber sole shoes that can get wet, quick drying clothes, a hat and sunscreen, and a change of clothes.
For families or for less adventuresome travelers, the Corobici river in Guanacaste near Liberia offers more a more relaxed trip on it’s calm waters.
